a strange night more than any other, i had a great day yesterday. :)
the exhibition is taking shape, though we have skrewups here and there, it's taking shape and that's more than enough for me right now. : )
it was a great day because i met the printer, who's really professional, surprisingly professional. his name is boon wei, and he's located in BEDOK NORTH. well worth the travelling. i later met one possible advertising client, who's made me very very VERY happy. and another who wasn't in. i chatted up another company, and they're interested too - food reveiws!! fooood.
i caught a movie, finally - after how many weeks of lifeless slogging over the laptop and computer and gmail and trimedia. THE OMEN.
let's digress a little: THE OMEN, 2hrs.
in brief: acting is believable, chemistry between the characters is neglible, and script is expected (it's word-for-word from the original decades old script!) timeline-wise, they got the dates rather skrewed up, but you've gotta watch it first.
still, it's not out-of-this-world freaky, but if you like short and sudden scares, this would be a movie for you.
note: after this movie, you might never want to adopt anything - ever.
now, back to what happened after our 9p.m. movie, make that 11.30pm
i receive a message, from a friend in secondary school. it's been a while, "do you still remember me?" so i'm taken on tuesday night, so no one book me : )
it gets stranger and stranger would be right, because i met some guy called wen. then i was offered a ride home by a total stranger, who said that he saw me waiting for a bus. (i didn't take the free ride home, it's dangerous you know! besides i was 200m from my house)
i fall asleep on my couch, in my grey dress, to wake at 8.30a.m. (what an ungodly hour for a saturday when i have no work to do). the first thing i do? get started on gmail -
what is wrong with me?! you may ask?. i left my laptop in school (don't ask me why, i figured to stay away from work - but to no avail you see.)
and i'm glad i didn't stay away, because i clinched a deal with Skratch-Entertainment this morning to have UrbanWire / TriMedia Publishing to be the official online media sponsor for the 1st Fort Minor Asia DJ Championship battle 2006!
