hearing aid: all things indie at club home

i stood within 3 metres of fra*land today. no shit.

for those who don't know, fra*land is a place i haven't been to for about coming 2 years now. it's been so long, i thought i'll never come across it ever again. you know how they speak of a treasure kept so secret that you can never find at the same place twice? fra*land is kind of like that to me - the secret treasure hidden so well and out of sight that it is so rare an opportunity that you get to lay your eyes upon it.

i don't know if i was fortunate to see fra*land, because i freaked - beyond freaked. i stopped dancing and stood absolutely still in the middle of the dancefloor, gawking in shock, disbelief, stupor and all other synonyms that you can find in thesaurus.com when you google the word 'shock'. look it up, i'm pretty sure i was feeling every single one of them at that moment in time.


i dreamt this day so many times, but it was nothing like my dream at all. in my made-up world; he was happy, i was happy and happy to see him happy (and always with some other girl).
pinch me and what we get is a jaw-dropped-valerie staring at this guy who looks like, walks like, dances like, and acts like faisal. he gained a little weight, but still just as hot since 2 years ago. shit. i hate my luck.

this blog was relevant to a ms. valerie anne from when she was studying mass communications in a singapore polytechnic.
