somehow when he plays the piano, that's all i hear.you spend so much time doing trivial things (like emailing), that the little important relationships just fade away.
listen to your mum cooking in the kitchen while you sit there surfing the net.
listen to the water run as your little brother is having a bath while you watch Lost.
listen to the kids screaming at your playground outside your house as you dabble in the digital world of Warcraft and Dota.
listen to the washing machine spin its last round as you pretend you can't hear it so you won't have to do the laundry. (leaving mum to do it.)
listen to the pots and pans in the kitchen sink not get washed as you make out with your counterpart in your bedroom.
there are so many sounds; so many distractions, what do you focus on?
