oh my gosh.

i received a very welcomed call today from a friend who said that he found a book i've been looking for; lily by cindy bonner. i read this book when i was in p school, and have remembered it since, so therefore it must be a very good, no - great book! : )

it went something like this.

hey, it's me.
hi you.
i found lily.
huh? who?
lily by cindy bonner.
what! you found it? (i was beyond excited, try ecstatic.) where?
i'm not going to tell you.
what do you mean you're not going to tell me?! how am i going to get it if you don't tell me where it is!
i've got it.
what! (i think i said what in this entire conversation more times than i would like to admit. i'm positive i sounded as if i was hearing impaired.)
i've got it. (he repeated it and made me all happy and high.)
how come?
you wanted it right?
of course i wanted it! i've been looking. i went to kino and they said it was no longer being printed. oh my gosh. oh my gosh. oh my gosh! (i swear i was jumping about. haha.) why did you get it?
you got me something, so i got you something back.
no. i returned something. (returning and giving is totally different. but i appreciate it all the same.)
well, i got you it anyway. so i'll pass it to you soon, maybe we'll meet.
yeahh, we'll meet.
