appreciating lit class is random. even more random than me. tis' hard to catch onto something that doesn't make sense or flows with your structure of thought.

and i really like it, even if i'm not the best at it. :)


it made me enjoy walking home in the rain, even with an aunty umbrella.
it made me stop to listen to the trees rustling in the wind.
it made me pause in my steps to watch the rain bounce off the pavement.
it made me let rain drizzle softly on my skin.
it made me feel like there are infinite possibilities
it made me refuse association, and i like no-association.
it made me love living in this messed-up world.

i could just latch onto his voice.

The lorry drives by, pulling slowly from its lot at first
Then revving off into the distance, it disappears
The engine sounds rough and harsh
Like the weather of late, temperamental

The fallen dried leaves roll with the sudden gust of back wind
The wind moves quikcly through my bare legs
Not so with my umbrella, catching the artificial gust, pulling away
I tightened my grasp before my umbrella rolls like the leaves at my feet

This shiver is familiar, and distant
Like a love I could once remember
