the significance of dreams

the clockwork
that goes on in our head
as we sleep
as we take time
to wonder
ponder
dream they say
does it really matter
does it make sense
does anything ever make sense?
my brother one day asked me
what is the significance of dreams
what an essay question no?
i told him
look at da vinci
at nostradamus another
they had dreams
prophecies they called it
whatever you wish to name a dream
they thought of it
in that mind
of which we only use
two percents worth
how significant are our dreams
really
that is my question
but heres another question
why the coincidence?
i can make anything happen if i want it to.
i have the power to affect change.
i have the ability to choose.
make a decision.
