i hope to build.

a fortified frame which held her upright when all else collapsed around her, and it gave him hope that she would ultimately emerge from the detritus of her blighted childhood as strong an individual as her mother had been. there was always the possibiltiy that some insignificant event would one day pull the bottom brick form her foundations, causing her to crumple into a heap, but should that happen, he hoped to be there to pick up the pieces. for now, he could only be relieved that, upon losing so much, she had found it in herself to get up and go on without much help from him, because he had nothing for her.

it is hard to experience when there's nothing that can move you
when there is a void that is so hard to fill
like it is empty and emptiness that is nothing
for how can you fill nothing?
